October 2021 Updates

October is going to be a great month here at Liberty! Before we get too far in, I want to highlight a few things for you:

  • October 6 – This Wednesday is the first Wednesday night after the Marriage series. We have a number of new groups starting and continue to have fun programs planned for your kids and students. There is something for the whole family. If you are looking to get involved in a group, this is a great opportunity! You can click here to see the different groups that are available.
  • October 23-30 – The last week of October is our 757 Strong We will focus on loving our community through a variety of service projects. You can participate as a group or an individual and you can find more information here.
  • October 29- November 6 – We have a team that will be serving in Morocco at the end of the month. Please be praying for final preparations, for travel logistics, for the missionaries they will be partnering with, and ultimately that doors would be opened for the gospel.
  • October 31 – This year, Halloween falls on a Sunday. Liberty Kids is hosting Candy Palooza! It will be a great opportunity to invite our friends and neighbors to church. Kids can wear their costume and they will receive a bag of candy. The purpose is to share the gospel!

One of our goals at Liberty is to help each person Know God, Find Community, Serve People, and Leave a Legacy. We know God by spending time in the Word and time in prayer. We find community by gathering together and growing together. We serve people by loving the church and loving the community. We leave a legacy by going on mission and giving to the mission. I love that each of the events above is tied directly to that mission. And, if you want to learn more about how you can personally know God, find community, serve people, and leave a legacy, our Life Track class is coming up November 14. You can go ahead and sign up here.

The reason we do what we do is to change lives, communities, and the world for Jesus Christ. Please be praying that God would use you and use our church to do just that!

Tammy and I are looking forward to all that’s ahead and we hope you are too.

The best is yet to come!
