We are so excited to introduce something new — the It’s Life Podcast! Hosted by Weston, Zach (Campus Pastor at our Smithfield campus), and Jenny, this podcast exists to do one thing: build real, practical conversations around your faith.
The name says it all. Here at Liberty, we’ve always said it’s not just church — it’s life. That phrase is the heartbeat behind this podcast. Faith isn’t something you leave at the door when Sunday morning ends. It’s something that shapes how you parent, how you drive to work, how you show up at the office, and how you sit around the dinner table. This podcast is the extension of that conviction, a space where scripture meets the noise of everyday life and cuts through it with something worth hearing.
We know how much is competing for your attention — news cycles, social media, and podcasts stuffed with ads. We wanted to create something different. No ads. No filler. Just concise, downloadable conversations designed to fit into your commute, your kitchen, your daily rhythm. Our goal is simple: don’t waste your drive. Use it to grow.
New episodes drop on the last Tuesday of every month and that’s intentional. Mondays are for catching up on the sermon. Tuesdays are for this: a conversation that bridges what you heard on Sunday with what you’re navigating the rest of the week. Whether you’ve been part of our Liberty family for years or you’ve never visited one of our campuses, this podcast is for you. Our people stretch across Hampton Roads, serve in the military, and live all over the world — and this is one more way we want to keep you connected to God’s truth no matter where life takes you.
We are also in the middle of something special as a church — More of Jesus in 2026 — a church-wide focus on going deeper into God’s Word through Bible reading plans. This podcast is another tool in that mission, equipping you to guard your heart, fill your ears with life-giving truth, and walk with Jesus from Sunday straight through Saturday.
Proverbs 4:20 sets the tone for everything ahead — “Be attentive to my words… for they are life to those who find them.” That’s the why behind everything we’re doing here.
Episode 1 is already available — featuring Pastor Grant and Miss Tammy. Subscribe, drop a comment on YouTube, and share it with someone who needs a little encouragement this week. We can’t wait to do this with you!
