If you have further questions, contact us via email:
When and how do I register for a group?

We encourage people to register in between semesters, but you can do it at any time! Simply click the “Find a Group” button at the top of the page and you’ll find all the instructions of how to browse, search, request information, and register for any of our groups.

What do groups do in between semesters?

The time in between semesters is a great time for group leaders and members to attend to personal needs, some groups schedule local missions projects, and others schedule special times of fun and fellowship. Other groups continue to meet! It is also provides a clean on and off ramp for people looking to join groups or who want to try a different group.

Can I change groups?

Some people may find that after they have tried a group for a semester that it wasn’t the best fit, and that is OK! Or perhaps you want to try a different kind of group for a semester or two. We believe there is a group that will meet you where you are in your spiritual journey!

Do groups offer childcare?

Some groups meet on campus when Liberty Kids is open, others meet off-campus and there is no childcare but you can request childcare reimbursement. It is best to contact the group leader to discuss what is available and your particular situation.

Do all groups do a traditional Bible study?

While some of our groups are traditional Bible study groups, we have a wide variety of groups. Some are video based, some are prayer focused, and others combine Bible study and activity. But all of them are grounded on E.S.P.N. – encouragement, Scripture, prayer, and next steps!

What does an affinity group mean?

Affinity groups are common-interest or activity groups formed around one thing that every group member shares. Examples include bicycling, knitting, softball, photography, movies, camping, books, etc.

I would like to lead a group. How can I learn more about that?

If you are interested in learning more about leading a group, click the “Lead A Group” at the top of the page, or send an email to the contact below!

Can I contact a group before deciding to register?

We encourage people to reach out to group leaders when you are considering a group to join. They are ready to answer any questions you may have to help you make a decision about a group that is best for you. You can do that by selecting a group you are interested in and then filling out the “Contact this Group” section on the details page for that group.
