Christmas Toy Donation to Riverbend Apartments

NOVEMBER – DECEMBER

This Christmas, we are partnering with Riverbend Apartments to bring joy and hope to families in need. For the past four years, we’ve been building relationships and sharing God’s love with this community of low-income families. Now, we have the opportunity to bless them with toys and gifts for their children.

You can be part of making this Christmas special by donating new, unwrapped toys. Bring your toys with you on Sundays to our Gloucester Campus and drop them off in the designated area.

Operation Christmas Child

OCTOBER 26 – NOVEMBER 16

Operation Christmas Child is a global initiative that shares the love of Christ by delivering gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world.

We’ll be handing out shoeboxes for families to fill on October 19th.

Filled boxes can be returned between October 26th and November 16th.

Greenbrier Campus

Operation Blessing

NOVEMBER 19 | 6:30PM

On November 19, we will partner with Operation Blessing and meeting at their warehouse to pack food bags and hygiene kits for people in need. Operation Blessing is a nonprofit organization that helps alleviate suffering and meet human needs through hunger relief, disaster response, clean water, medical aid, and child development programs.

Come be part of bringing help and hope to others while having a great time serving together.

Important Details:

  • Please wear closed toe shoes since we will be working in a warehouse environment.
  • Children under 7 years old are not permitted for safety reasons.
  • Each child age 7 and older must be registered separately along with their parent or guardian.

Food Drive

OCTOBER – NOVEMBER

From October through November, we will be collecting non-perishable food items to support families in need. Donations can be dropped off at the Next Steps Center.

The food collected will be distributed on November 1st and 22nd at 9 AM. If you’re interested in volunteering to help with the distribution, please reach out to missions@libertylive.church.

The Toy Store will be on December 13th in the Dining Hall.

Donations can be dropped off at the Next Steps Center. If you’d prefer to donate online, you can order from our Amazon registry, and the toy will be delivered directly to the church for the Toy Store.

You can make a difference in three ways:

  • Gift Request – Reserve a time slot for your family to pick out gifts.
  • Donate Toys – Shop our Amazon registry and send toys directly to the church.
  • Volunteer – Sign up to serve and help make the Toy Store possible.

We’re collecting Thanksgiving food items to support the Christian Outreach Program and help provide holiday meals for families in need across Isle of Wight County. You can drop off your donations in the Gathering Area on Sundays or at the church office during the week

Smithfield Christmas Market

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6 | 11AM-4PM

Join us on Saturday, December 6, from 11AM to 4PM at the Smithfield Market as we hand out free hot chocolate, cider, and cookies. It’s the perfect opportunity to spread holiday cheer and hand out invite cards to our community for our Christmas Eve services.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13 | 9AM

Join us for the Smithfield Christmas Parade, where we’ll be handing out candy and invitations to our Christmas Eve services! If you’d like to contribute, we’ll be accepting candy donations following Candy Palooza.

York River Campus

Stonehouse Elementary Angel

NOVEMBER 16 – DECEMBER 7

We will be sponsoring 50–60 children in need from Stonehouse Elementary. Together, we have the opportunity to bless these students with gifts that will make their Christmas brighter and remind them that they are loved.

You can help by donating new, unwrapped gifts. Simply bring your donations with you on Sundays to our York River Campus and drop them off in the designated area.
