We pray you have been able to celebrate Jesus and Adore Him throughout this Christmas season! I’ve certainly enjoyed preaching through the Christmas story from the perspective of the nativity scene. It’s been fun to look at the shepherds, the wise men, the animals, Mary and Joseph, and then on Christmas Eve, Jesus.

Nativity scenes come in all shapes, sizes, and cultures, but they all have one thing in common. Jesus is the center of it all! The same should be true of our lives. When Jesus is in His rightful place, we are truly fulfilled. Colossians 1:16-17 says, “For everything was created by him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and by him all things hold together.”

So many of you have been so faithful in making sure Jesus is at the center of your finances. You’ve given your tithe to the General Budget (our Jerusalem). You’ve given above the tithe to The Big Give (our Judea and Samaria). You’ve also given to our Global Missions Offering which goes to the ends of the earth. I had a 12-year-old young man and his mother ask to meet with me. They attend the 9:00 a.m. service and he is active in Liberty Students. He went home and told his mother he wanted her to help him give a tithe out of his savings. He gave $1,000 to the General Budget, $800 to the Big Give, and $800 to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions.  What an example of obedience and generosity. If God can use a 12-year-old to give $2,600, what can God do through you?

Thank you for your faithfulness! I can’t wait to see how God is going to use your generosity to spread the gospel in prisons and detention centers, to provide permanent homes for our portable campuses, to support School of Ministry students, and to help missionaries take the gospel to those who have never heard the name of Jesus.
