Easter is only 10 days away! Last year we were not able to meet together in-person, but praise God we can this year! As I look toward the week ahead, here are a few thoughts:
– Good Friday kicks off Easter Weekend. It is a day to pause and reflect on all that Jesus did for us on the cross. I want to invite you to join us at 7:00 p.m. for a special Good Friday service. We will take the Lord’s Supper and spend time remembering and thanking Jesus for all that He endured for us.
– Our Easter services officially begin on Saturday night. More than just a reason to dress up or eat a good meal, Easter is day to celebrate the fact that our God is alive. Jesus conquered sin and death and is alive now making intercession for us! Our God is not dead, dull, or distant. He does not have eyes that cannot see or ears that cannot hear. He has a heart for His children and a desire to see them walk in the abundant life He offers. Let’s celebrate! The service times and locations are online at www.libertylive.church/easter. You can also find out more about what we are doing to keep the environments safe for you and your family.
– Worshipping together in a public location is such a privilege. So many people around the world have to hide or only meet in very small groups. We get to join together without fear. If you’ve been keeping up with us online, I’m so grateful! But, if you are able, I want to encourage you to be at one of our physical campuses on Easter weekend. I promise you won’t regret it.
– Invite cards are available! This Sunday will be your last chance to pick some up. Make sure you grab a stack and invite everyone you come in contact with to join us this Easter. The only hope for the world around us is Jesus.
Tammy and I love serving the Lord with you and can’t wait to spend Easter weekend with you at Liberty!
