What Does Ruth 4 Say?

I hope you have been enjoying the study on Ruth as much as I have! Pastor Dalton did a great job on Sunday starting chapter four. If you missed it, you can watch it here. Some key takeaways were:

  • Long Game > Short Game
    • Galatians 6:9: So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
  • Right Way > Wrong Way
    • Proverbs 12:15: Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.
    • Proverbs 14:12: There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.
  • God’s Way > My Way
    • Proverbs 11:5: The godly are directed by honesty; the wicked fall beneath their load of sin.
    • Isaiah 55:8-9: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

This Sunday, I plan to finish the book. You don’t want to miss it!

Additionally, I want to encourage you to mark your calendar for our Easter services. Friday, March 29, at 7:00 p.m., will be our Good Friday service at all campuses. Then, every campus will kick off the Easter celebration on Saturday, March 30 at 5:00 p.m. The Sunday times vary, so you can visit our Easter page to see more. There you will also find when Liberty Kids will be open, and you can download shareable invites.

“Miss” Tammy and I love you and we look forward to seeing you Sunday!
